Air’n’Paint was started many years ago as a hobby along side my day job as a Graphic Designer. I was introduced to the custom painting and airbrush art back in 2001 at a trade show where there was a booth setup with an artist airbrushing a sunset cowboys and indians theme down the side of a VP commodore. My first thought was ‘Gotta get me one of them’.
With an artistic background and working in the sign writing and graphic design industry I was also custom painting everything that came my way. And I do mean anything. Surfboards, helmets, motorcycle tanks, bedroom walls, t-shirts, shoes, jackets, drink bottles, mobile phones and all the way up to full car murals. There was nothing that you couldn’t apply a custom paint job to.
I began to receive a lot of orders for custom painted bike frames as during this time there was a resurge with the popularity of riding, particularly within Sydney. I worked closely with a few bike shops servicing their clients custom requests and as they say the rest is history.
I have acquired many years experience as a custom painter and I use only the best products and supplies to ensure that the end result is the highest of quality. I understand what many riders bikes are worth to them, not just the dollar value but the lifestyle value and the richness riding brings to their lives. I enjoy nothing more than the reaction I see when presenting a customer back their pride and joy, customised for them and them alone.
